Weekends from June 27- August 16. Up to three households of no more than six members each may register for four, eight, twelve, seventeen, or twenty-two hours (overnight) of organized and staff-led recreational activities at YMCA Camp Onyahsa. Parents and other relatives can now experience the fun of Camp’s traditional activities with the Onyahsa staff.
Households will rotate through the six traditional Onyahsa activities; boating, swimming/beach, arts/crafts, Nature/hike, Challenge Course, and athletics/outdoor recreation. Families should not come into contact with other households and will remain at least 6 feet from Camp staff at all times.
Evenings will offer less structure; family-led outdoor recreation and a campfire. No food service will be provided; families may bring their own food or have meals delivered from nearby restaurants. Enjoy a break from home quarantine, get outside into a new environment, and have fun the way Onyahsa campers have experienced for over 122 years.
For overnight guests, bedding will be provided. All cabins are equipped with their own bathrooms and will be disinfected between each household’s stay.
Cost: $100/household per four hours: (9:00am - 1:00pm or 2:00pm-6:00pm). Overnight accommodations (7:00pm - 8:00am) $100/family (includes bedding). If a family registers for 23 hours the cost will be $350 for up to six persons (maximum). Households with more than six persons will need to register as two households to meet social distancing requirements.
