Summer Family, Adult, and Community Programs
Camp Conservation Day/Volunteer Clean-Up (Friday, May 15, 2010)
Join us for an afternoon of fun, fellowship, and community service as we prepare the Onyahsa site for the summer programs from 2:00pm-5:00pm. Volunteers are greatly appreciated, and good food is provided. Those seeking camp scholarships are encouraged to participate.
Onyahsa Open House (May 15, 2010)
Tour the Onyahsa site and meet the director, volunteer board members, and staff, while learning about our historic camp and its exciting program. New facility improvements will be highlighted, and refreshments will be offered. Saturday from 11:00am-3:00pm. Please inquire for details.
Mother and "Child" Camp (June 4-5, 2010)
A chance for Moms, (guardians, or other female adult role models) and their daughters, sons, and children of all ages to spend quality time together at the beginning of the summer. All activities will be staffed and pre-planned, and will include games, boating, fishing, archery, and much more. Moms and their “kids” of all ages will enjoy campfire stories, the beauty of nature, and just spending time together. Bring grandma too! (5:00pm Friday to 1:00pm Saturday, all meals included).
Father and "Child" Camp (June 5-6, 2010)

A pre-Camp chance for Dads, (guardians, or other male role models) and their sons, daughters, and children of all ages to spend some quality time together on Father’s Day- fishing, canoeing, playing, singing around the campfire, and just talking. Whether the “child” is a kid or a father himself, everyone will enjoy this special time together. Bring grandpa too! (2:00pm Saturday to 10:00am Sunday, all meals included).
